Terri Schiavo is lying in a bed in Florida right now fighting for her life, while the country debates whether she should live or die. Deep down in my heart something is telling me, for some reason, that it is very important that Terri (Schindler) Schiavo live. I know that people have of differing opinions when it come to this case, but let us just calmly and logically look at the facts.

These are just a few of the facts:
1) Michael Schiavo is living and having relations with another woman.
2) Michael Schiavo has fathered two children with this other woman.
3) In many other states, Michael Schiavo and the woman whom he is living with and having relations with would be considered husband and wife (by common law).
4) Even though Michael Schiavo has this extensive relationship with this other woman, he is still making life and death decisions for his legal wife (by Florida Law).
5) Michael Schiavo took a vow on his wedding day to love, honor, and cherish his wife Terri. In sickness and health and to death do they part, he made these vows; but has since seen fit to break these vows.
6) The courts are taking the word of her husband (Who is obviously involved in situation where there is a clear conflict of interest), that Terri Schiavo would have wanted the feeding and hydrating tubes removed.
7) There is no other evidence, besides the testimony of Michael, that Terri Schiavo would have wanted the feeding and hydrating tubes pulled.
8) Michael Schiavo, according to Terri’s brother, stands to gain a lot monetarily if his wife dies.
9) Michael Schiavo decided, years after his wife Terri had the stroke, that she said that she would have wanted the tubes that keep her alive removed (what took him so long to remember).
10) Michael Schiavo has taken all decision making away from Terri’s parents, when it comes to their daughter’s life.
11) Michael Schiavo tried to withhold communion from his wife Terri, who is a practicing Catholic , on her death bed.
12) Michael Schiavo has now, so graciously decided that he will grant an autopsy to the Schindler family. Michael’s Attorney has stated that it is Michael’s intention to put to rest any questions about him being a bad guy. He states that this is the reason why Michael wants an autopsy. Well, guess what! By Florida State Law, if she is going to get cremated (Like Michael wants), she has to have an autopsy. The camp of Michael Schiavo has no choice in the matter.

Look at all the facts above and ask yourself why the Florida courts would allow someone in this position to decide if Terri is going live or die. According to Terri’s family, Michael is not exactly a "stand up guy". I don't know Michael Schiavo, but with all the OJ Simpsons and Scott Petersons in the world, I think we have to be real careful who we allow to make the decisions in a case where a person is unable to communicate what they want. We have to be especially careful when said person may stand to gain so much monetarily.

Now, I just have one question for you, the reader. If you were in Terri’s shoes, would you want Michael Schiavo making life and death decisions for you? Would you? Well,…would you?!
