The King of Queens: The Complete Fourth Season

Doug and Carrie Heffernan are back to give you one more wild season of "King of Queens," and as always Jerry Stiller is there to liven things up as Carrie's live-in father as Sony Pictures Home Entertainment gives us season four of the hit television sitcom.
Just as the last season release this season has no special features of mention as it only carries the 25 episodes from season four on three DVDs and previews of other Sony Home Entertainment releases, but if you are like me the special features aren't necessary to make this a worthwhile buy.
I have recently found out that the comedy provided by the portly Kevin James is something that many people are either for or against, and speaking as a person from the "for" side, I don't know what the hell those others are complaining about. I find James' style of humor to be absolutely hilarious and the outrageous behavior he provides combined with the stellar supporting work by Stiller makes this show one hot commodity, it is no wonder it is on so many channels featured in syndication.
As we left the happily married couple in season three they were contemplating parenthood, and while that subject is broached in the fourth season it isn't exactly a focal point as it pretty much continues its wild ways and never really sells out or should we say "jumps the shark" just yet.
Instead we find Doug getting Carrie discount laser eye surgery, Doug lying about climbing Mt. Everest to Carrie's boss, Carrie finding out her father kept her out of college, the nanny-cam installed to keep an eye on Carrie's father, Doug briefly returns to the life as a bachelor, a trip to New Orleans and so much more.
This is a perfect show to waste away the hours when you don't feel like doing anything. It will keep you laughing the whole way through and never gets tiresome. Visit the official King of Queens website.
