Palmer Productions Dance Studio
located at 1010 Plainfield St., Johnston, Rhode Island, is opening September, 2006, and is now enrolling for fall classes. Dance styles include ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and acrobats for ages 2-adult. We offer Family Discount Plans to families with more than one child enrolled. The Grand Opening is being held on September 10, 2006 from 10am-3pm. There will be food, drink, free prizes, and activities for the children. It will also provide you with an opportunity to meet the owner/dance instructor and tour the dance studio. Our mission is to educate dancers and help build self-confidence. We hope to provide each and every student with a feeling of belonging to a dance "family."
An annual dance concert is planned each year at the conclusion of the dance season. This will take place in June 2007. This is the big reward for everyone included; dancers, parents and teacher. Wonderful memories are made and the students and parents get to showcase all of their hard work!!
Artistic Director, Heather M. Palmer has been dancing for over 25 years with extensive training in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, pointe, lyrical and much, much more. Her experience includes professional and amateur dance competition performances, receiving high score awards and medals. She has been professionally teaching and choreographing for over 10 years focusing on technique and performance aspects. Heather also has experience working with children with special needs, particularly the developmentally disabled population. In 2005, she started a local chapter of Students Against Destructive Decisions; helping youngsters make good choices. To find out more about the director and the dance studio please go to our website
